About Us

The Amateur Field Trial Clubs of America was organized in 1948. It is divided into nineteen Regions that cover all of the continental United States, Hawaii, Japan and parts of Canada.

Region Six is made up of amateur clubs in the states of Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisianna, and Mississippi.

An annual meeting is held in May or June at the National Bird Dog Museum. The meeting includes dinner, presentation of awards and election of officers and directors. Dates and times of club trials and Regiona Championships are also decided during themeeting.

Trustees representing Region Six on the Board of the AFTCA are discussed and recommended for election at this time.

Region Six is fortunate to have excellent field trial grounds, both privately and state owned. Our Region is made up of some 45 field trial clubs.
