According to the Region 6 Constitution

ARTICLE V AMENDMENTS
SECTION 1. THIS CONSTITUTION CAN BE AMENDED ONLY BY A TWO-THIRDS VOTE OF THE MEMBERS PRESENT AT A REGULAR OR SPECIAL MEETING, DUE NOTICE OF WHICH SHALL HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE MEMBERS, AT LEAST 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE HOLDINGS OF SUCH MEETING. 

The following amendments have been suggested for your consideration and will be voted on at our annual meeting on June 13, 2020. 

ARTICLE IV DOG OF THE YEAR

SECTION 4. POINT TRIALS FOR DOG OF YEAR ENDS ON APRIL 15TH. RESULTS OF POINT TRIALS HAVE TO BE SENT TO SECRETARY BY MAY 5TH, AFTER THIS DATE NO POINTS WILL BE COUNTED. 

Proposed by Ross Leonard to change the ending date to April 30th. 

ARTICLE IV DOG OF THE YEAR
SECTION 5. NON-REGISTERED DOGS-TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR DOG OF THE YEAR, DOG MUST BE REGISTERED BY APRIL 15TH OF AWARDS YEAR.

Proposed by Lisa Little to change to – Only dogs registered by the American Field Stud Dog Book prior to the beginning of the Region 6 Field Trial season are eligible to compete in Region 6 associated field trials and Dog of the Year Awards.
